COVID-19 Testing

Douglas County School District (DCSD) staff can sign up for regular testing for COVID-19 at no cost to participants through a partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado. The tests will be completed by SARS-CoV-2 Infection Screening. School-based staff can get tested twice a month (once during the first two weeks of each month and then once during the last two weeks of each month) and all other district staff can get tested once a month.

What information will be collected and what will be done with it?

Throughout the Registration process, it is required to input your Name, E-mail, and Phone Number. This information will only be used for communication regarding this test and will not be sold or shared, except as required by law (see below).

It is required by law to ask for the participant’s age, sex, race, ethnicity, ZIP code, and county of residence. Registration information and test results are shared with Primary Diagnostics, Inc in order to deliver test results to participants. The security and privacy of this information is protected by law, just like at your doctor’s office.

For any participants that test positive it is required by law that the Name and Contact Information is shared with the county of residence for contact tracing purposes. It is likely that positive participants will be contacted by a public health worker to determine who has been in close contact with for additional testing.

Please use your DCSD email to sign up for testing. Your email address should be the short form, first initial, middle initial, last name format (e.g. - jdoe@dcsdk12.org)
